ANNOUNCEMENTS

9-7-08	Today Colt Harris was at the annual Race Around the Bases. Colt was playing the softball game and did very well. It was a great time and everyone who was there enjoyed it.
9-5-08	The TOPLESS CAR WASH HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO THE TROPICAL STORM/WEATER TO BE COMING. TO BE RESCHEDULED AT A LATER TIME CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES
8-31-08	Colt had a ok night at the Coalcracker 100. In the heats they were taking 3 cars to qualify. Colt started 6th and finished 6th so he did not make it in that. He later in the night came back out for the consi and started 6th again and ended finishing 6th again not making it in the consi because they only took 3 cars in the consi too. Colt then came out in the feature because Big Diamond Raceway left him, Rick Laubach, and Craig Whitmoyer start the feature because they support the track weekly since the first race. So Colt ended up being in the feature starting 30th, which was last, was working his way threw the field staying out of accidents when colt turned around in turn 4. He rejoined the tail end of the field and kept going working his way around again to end up with a 14th place finish he was 3 laps down but still a 14th place finish was not bad at all.
8-29-08	Friday nights action at Big Diamond Raceway was rained out @ 6:55pm

8-22-08	Tonight Colt was in action at Big Diamond Raceway for the final points race of the year at the track. In his heat he started 1st and ended up in 7th not making the feature threw the heat event. Colt came back out for the consi and started 2nd and ended up 2nd meaning he made the feature event threw the consi. Colt would be in the feature event for the final points race. In the feature Colt started 20th, toward the back starting spot. This was a pretty good night for Colt having start 20th and ending up 16th in a accident. Come out next weekend for the Friday and Sunday events of the Coalcracker 50 for the sportsman on Friday night and the Coalcracker 100 for the modified's on Sunday night. Friday, August 29th, 2008 -- Coalcracker 50 for the Sportsman, plus ARDC Midgets, and a NON-Winners race for the modified Sunday, August 31st, 2008 -- Coalcracker 100 for the Modified's, plus roadrunners
8-15-08	Tonight at Big Diamond Raceway Colt Harris and the Harris Motorsports team was back in action again. In the heat Colt started 2nd and worked his way to the lead and finished 1st in the heat. In the feature Colt started 2nd which was the outside pole, starting him next to pole sitter Dale Hartz. Colt worked his way threw the field after falling back early and ended up with a 14th place finish.

8-8-08	Colt had a half descent night tonight at Big Diamond Raceway for the Chad Miller Memorial race. Before the racing action got under way Colt had his car on display for all his friends and fans to see along with a few other drivers. In the heat Colt started on the pole and finished 1st. Making it to the feature event. In the feature event Colt started 2nd. He fell bad early but worked his way back up front and ended up with a good night a 11th place finish. Another good night for the Harris Motorsports team. Hopefully a win will come soon. Come out next Friday to see Colt Harris and Harris Motorsports back in action at Big Diamond Raceway.
8-1-08	Tonight at Big Diamond Colt had a okay night. This was not one of his best but still pretty good. In his heat he started 2nd and finished 4th making the feature event. In the feature Colt started 4th and spun out in turn 4 one time and after it was all said and done Colt ended up with a 16th place finish.
7-28-08	NEW points, New Results, New Photos. Colt was back in action once again at big diamond raceway this week. Colt started out having a good night in the heat he started 2nd and finished 4th. Which was good because this made him qualify for the feature event. In the feature event Colt started 3rd and in the feature he was working his way up to the lead and while he was battle side by side with Bobby Gunther Walsh. Colt was on the inside of Walsh. Walsh came down on Colt causing Colt to run over top of Walsh's front end this caused Walsh to get a flat and spin into the infield on lap 2. Walsh was far enough off the track that no yellow was thrown. Colt was now in the lead and leading for a little while. Then on lap 14 a yellow came out, Colt was still in the top 5 when the yellow came out, after going around about 2 laps on the yellow, the officials made the call they were sending Colt pit side for his rear bumper hanging off. A lot of people were very upset with this call made on Colt. Colt went pit side and didn't not make it back out for the restart. Colt ended up with a 21st place finish.

7-20-08	Tonight at Big Diamond Raceway, the track was having the sportsman's, road runners, and limited late models race. Colt was in the #21jr sportsman at Big Diamond. He was doing fairly well in his heat he was in the 3rd heat which did not get to race b/c a heavy wind storm came and then it started to rain pretty hard. To cancel the nights event. Schedule to be raced at a later date of July 25th.
7-18-08	Tonight was the first night that Colt Harris had his shirts on sale at Big Diamond. Pictures to come soon. Colt had a pretty good night tonight at Big Diamond started 2nd in the heat and finished 2nd making the feature event. In the feature Colt started in 4th spot and was working his way in the feature after falling back a little. Colt worked his way back up and ended up with a top 10 finishing 9th.
7-11-08	Colt Harris had a pretty good night tonight in the heat he started 2nd and finished 4th making the feature event. In the feature he started 3rd and was doing great till a accident in the feature, made the official make the call to send Colt to the rear. Colt did not let that bother him and worked his way threw the field back up to a 10th place finish, another half decent feature for Colt Harris and Harris Motorsports.

7-4-08	Tonight at Big Diamond Raceway was there Annual Georgie Stevenson Memorial racing Colt started out his heat on the pole and ended up finishing 3rd and qualifying for the feature event. In the Feature event Colt started on the pole and worked his way threw some of the cars as the race went on after leading the first 7 laps before Craig Whitmoyer took over the lead. At the end of the race Colt ended up finishing 11th, not a bad finish at all for the Harris Motorsports crown 7.
6-27-08	Tonight Colt had some motor trouble so he did not make the feature event.
6-20-08	Colt had a alright night tonight at Big Diamond it wasn't the greatest but it wasn't bad either. In the heat he started 2nd and finished 6th missing the last qualifying spot by one spot. Later that night Colt came back out to try to make the feature event one last time in the consi starting 2nd and won his consi make tonight's feature event. In the feature Colt had to start 19th and finished 14th. It wasn't a bad night.
6-13-08	Colt did not have to great of a night tonight at Big Diamond. He made it to the feature event but later was Black flagged. So he did not have a great finish. Also NEW, NEW, NEW points, results, & pictures.
6-6-08	Colt Harris, what can you say about him he had a AWESOME night on friday he started 1st and finished 1st in his heat he looked great. Then it was time for the feature event Colt started on the pole and led 16 of the 25 laps and ended up finishing 5th. Colt is proud of his top 5 and is hoping to get a win really soon.
5-30-08	After a nice day of sunshine. Pack the house night got underway. Colt did not make it in the feature threw his heat or consi event.. So he did not get to race in the feature event. There is always next week to come back and get them.
5-16-08	Another wash out at Big Diamond Raceway so they had to cancel tonight's event. Come back next week and maybe weather will be a lot nicer and we can get some racing in. Also come out to see Colt Harris compete to get in victory lane with the win.
5-9-08	Tonight's action at Big Diamond Raceway has been cancelled. So come out next weekend for T102 Pack the House night at Big Diamond and see Colt Harris.
5-4-08	NEW pictures, results, and points are now posted check it out. Colt had some tough luck this weekend and unfortunately did not make the feature event.
4-20-08	Just would like to inform all of the visitors to Colt's Site that there is now updated points and new pictures.

4-12-08	Another night of racing for Colt Harris and he qualified for the feature starting 9th after he picked that's spot in a redraw not a bad pick after the night was over Colt came home with a 15th place finish.

3-28-08	Come out to Big Diamond Raceway for the Modified 40 lapper $4,000 to win and see Colt Harris compete for the victory.
3-16-08	Colt was at Hagerstown Speedway last night, missing a qualifying spot in the heats but came back in the consi to finish 4th which made him qualify for the feature and in the feature he finished 19th. Good Job Colt.

10-28-07	Colt makes another special appearance; This time at Hagerstown Speedway in his newly designed body and car number "Crown Seven."
9-16-07	Colt makes a special appearance at Penn Can Raceway in the W9 but unfortunately did not make the feature.
9-2-07	Colt Harris had a newly designed car number and body for the Coal cracker 100 @ Big Diamond Raceway. This body and car number was a tribute to Smokey Warren, a former race car driver, and the car number was Smokey's car number 54.
7-20-07	Makes a comeback in the Harris family-owned W9 modified to finish out the 2007 season at Big Diamond Raceway
